There is a high demand for meat in the United States. On average our county produces 25 billion pounds of red meat a year, and the average consumer will eat 222.2 pounds a year. Just like the meat industry, there is a high demand for commercial sex that makes human trafficking and prostitution lucrative businesses. Every day, women and children are being sold like cattle, forced into the sex trade.These inhumane practices must come to an end. People are not meat and should not be sold.
